Hello Winemakers,

The most anticipated time of the year is finally upon us - Wine Season is HERE! 🌿🍇

We're thrilled to announce that our vineyards are bursting with ripe, luscious grapes, and we can't wait to share the magic of this year's harvest with you. Whether you're a seasoned winemaker or a new winemaker, there's something truly enchanting about creating your own wines.

Here's what you can look forward to this week:

1.       Grapes & Juices Galore: Grapes and Juices are in stock and arriving daily. The high quality of what has arrived so far is a good indication of the quality we are going to see this season. Although some of the grapes are late to harvest this year, we will see good, high-quality grapes and juices across the boards.

2.       Currently In Stock (as of 9/6):

a.       Grapes: Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Teroldego, Barbera, Alicante, and Thompson Seedless

b.       Juices: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Grenache, Mixed Black, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Ruby Cabernet, Syrah, Chardonnay, Muscat, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Thompson Seedless, Viognier, and White Zinfandel

c.       Always call ahead to make sure you have the most up to date stock information!

3.       Winemaker Hours: Winemaker Sam is on vacation until September 15^th. But Winemaker Barry will be in on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays to assist you with your fermentation and winemaking questions.

4.       Harvest Store Hours: We are officially open 7 days a week! Mon-Friday 7:00am-5:00PM, Sat 6:00AM-1:00PM, Sun 7:00AM-12:00PM

Looking ahead to Next Week:

Harvest Updates: Our growers are harvesting your Lodi Merlot and Black Muscat. Lodi and Central Valley Cabernet will be harvested over the weekend and early next week. We should have a good mix of grapes available for the weekend of 9/16. Suisun Valley will start harvesting Sauvignon Blanc on 9/18. We should see reds start to come off the vine from them the week of 9/25.

Hands-On Winemaking: Back by popular demand is our Winemaker Bootcamp. The September Class will start Saturday September 16th, 2023 at 9:00AM - 12:00PM (runs for 5 weeks). The October Class will start on Saturday October 21st, 2023 at 9:00AM - 12:00PM (runs for 5 weeks). Make sure to sign up via the website or email cmusto@juicegrape.com if you are interested. There are only 2 spaces left in the September class and only 3 spaces left in the October class! 

Winemaker In Your Pocket: Musto Wine Grape and Frank Renladi put together online courses you can access from anywhere! Check out our online classes via our sister site WinemakingInstructions.com.
