The 2013 M&M Family of Wine Amateur Wine Classic has now been scheduled for June 29, 2013 with the deadline for entries being June 21, 2013.
Please note the competition again reflects wines made from either grapes/juice, or kits, with separate awards for each. Also please pay particular attention to selecting the correct classification of residual sweetness of your wine. Such errors can place your wine at a disadvantage if improperly identified.
M&M Wine Grape Company, LLC (M&MAWC) and the American Wine Society (AWS) are sponsoring the Twentieth Annual Amateur Wine Maker Competition. The entry fees are as follows:
For each unique entrant. Less than 3 entries, will be $15 per wine entry for AWS members, $18 for non-members. For 3 or more entries, the fee will be reduced to only $10 per entry for AWS members and $12 per entry for non-AWS members. Only one bottle per entry is required.
All pertinent information regarding the competition can be accessed via the links below; please read and follow the instructions for entering your wines. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact either chairpersons listed in the announcement letter or above. You may also contact the M&M Wine Grape office at 877.812.1137 or email email us. Submit your entrees as soon as possible to avoid a last minute rush. The competition blind judging will be held on June 29th, 2013. The deadline for entries is Friday, June 21st, 2013. No entries can be accepted after that date. Make sure your entry forms are accurate and complete, including the properly completed entry form, entry fee, and wine bottle with appropriate label. A great deal of sorting is necessary on our part; your cooperation will greatly assist us.

However, wines that were not Gold Medal winners in our previous competitions are eligible. You may enter as many wines as you wish. M&MAWC will establish the competition rating system and handle all logistics.
Awards will be presented at the annual Awards Banquet, currently planned for Saturday, August 3, 2013, and will be held once again, at Zandri's Stillwood Inn in Wallingford, CT. All are welcome to join the festivities whether you entered wines or not.
