From the Two Mountain Home Block-Balance is the great thing about Cabernets from this block. Tannins are generally very soft and approachable while still making their presence known with ‘inky’ black color propensities. Overripe cherry, dark plum, blackberry and hints of spice tend to characterize finished wines from this block. This block tends to ripen and develop more ‘ripe’ flavor profiles at lower sugar leaving acid for balance’s sake.
