Things are busy in the vineyard at this point in the season. The clusters are set and vineyard workers are spending time on canopy management activities. Above, you see examples of manual leaf pulling and hedging operations. All this being done to ensure proper sunlight on clusters and to allow the vine to channel resources to its fruit as opposed to supporting an extensive canopy.
